This presentation will explore how Le Mars came to be the site of a library that was funded by Andrew Carnegie, as well as how Le Mars fits in to the bigger picture of Carnegie's funding for libraries throughout the state.

As part of our library's 150th birthday celebration we are hosting an All Le Mars Reads book discussion. The teen book selection is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Winning means fame and fortune. Losing means certain death.
